Project Overview

• The DCAC has historically provided retirement planning services through Remotiv (formerly,

Financial Soundings) to assist County employees with retirement planning and advice.

• Empower provides a Lifetime Income Score (LIS), among other retirement planning services

and resources, to assist participants with planning and advice.

• Both services help employees understand their progress toward funding retirement income.

• The DCAC would like to determine if offering both services is beneficial or redundant.

• The Plan’s investment consultant prepared a questionnaire for Remotiv and Empower to

compare the service offerings for evaluation by the DCAC.
