different people
• Furloughed and Laid Off are intended to be temporary
• Terminated is intended to be permanent
• Look at your past practices for guidance and talk with
counsel as needed
• Termination is a distributable event. Furloughed and
Laid Off are not
• CARES Act gives us other means to make payments
from accounts to folks still employed
