3 I dont know what it is. Make it more known 12/17/2023 5:27 PM
4 Nothing 12/15/2023 3:48 PM
5 I thought I DID sign up for a 5% contribution this year, so I'm very confused by this survey. I'll 12/15/2023 11:59 AM
reach our to benefits.
6 Increase Pay to be able to afford to do so. 12/15/2023 11:47 AM
7 Unsure for now 12/15/2023 11:37 AM
8 COMMUNICATION WITH EMPOWER I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON 12/15/2023 11:02 AM
9 No idea 12/15/2023 10:39 AM
10 why is this being promoted? 12/15/2023 10:39 AM
11 matching contributions. I can't afford it now, but if there is a higher benefit, I will sacrifice 12/14/2023 8:27 PM
something to make it happen.
12 Islamically-compliant investment options (there are many available on the market) 12/14/2023 7:06 PM
13 I will have more inflation adjusted net of tax and health care cost funds when I retire in 15 12/14/2023 6:50 PM
months then I do now. This situation is expected to last well beyond my 19 year life
expectance post retirement (inflation adjusted). Furthermore, my expenses will go down when I
retire as my youngest child will graduate in 5/2025 and my home will be paid off soon. The only
way to get me to participate is to offer very high returns, such as matching funds.
14 I've accumulated too many large bills over my decades (of raising kids, caring for aging family) 12/14/2023 6:26 PM
and I just need to start making actual headway into reducing them. If it wasn't for that (and if I
was younger and starting over) I would love to join a deferred compensation plan. Thanks for
the offer.
15 I don't know what Deferred Compensation Governance is. 12/14/2023 6:19 PM
16 Nothing. I believe that the economy has impacted to look at the future when some are living 12/14/2023 5:50 PM
paycheck to paycheck.
17 Match contributions 12/14/2023 5:49 PM
18 I think in general the County would have to find a transparent way to proof that this type of 12/14/2023 5:41 PM
added retirement planning is more effective than other alternative options through the open
market.
19 Education prior to meeting with a rep 12/14/2023 5:39 PM
20 I'm a new regular employee hired from a limited term position and did not receive information to 12/14/2023 5:38 PM
explain any of these benefits. Teams putting together information need to remember most
people have no idea how the county employee systems work, make it easier to find
information, don't use words only long time county people understand.
21 Theres already quite a bit each pay check that goes to cover health insurance and retirement- 12/14/2023 5:34 PM
For a person who has a family and a non executive salary, giving up any more money than is
absolutely required would be a hardship. As it stands, many County employees cannot afford
to even live in the County and making ends meet each month is difficult so putting aside more
each month is just not possible.
