Excessive Fees: Recordkeeping
Complaints allege the plan sponsor allowed participants to pay excessive fees when lower-cost alternatives
were available.
Examples
• Sweet v. Advance [Auto Parts]: Claimed the plan paid $77 per participant for recordkeeping when plans of
similar size paid $25, among other claims.
• Proposed settlement of $1.7 million.
