Lawmakers Reintroduce Bill to Permit

Roth IRA Rollovers

• Representatives Darin LaHood (R-Ill.) and Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.), along with

Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), have

reintroduced the Retirement Rollover Flexibility Act, which would allow

retirement savers to roll over their Roth IRA savings into a Roth account within

a workplace retirement plan.

• Under current law, workers are prohibited from rolling their Roth IRA savings

(including those in the dozen or so state-run IRA programs across the country)

into workplace-based Roth retirement plans.
