10 I received a payout with no explanation. If it was necessary [I have no idea why] I should have 2/11/2026 2:49 PM
been notified. I received a check, but no explanation and apparently, a portion of my account
was closed out. All without notice or explanation. I would have preferred to keep whatever this
payout represents with Empower, but now I am considering moving all of my investment from
Empower to another vendor. At the very least, I should have received an explanation as to why
it was necessary to provide a payout and close out of one of my assets with Empower. Now,
you will not have the opportunity to help me combine all my other 401/457 accounts.

11 I left San Mateo County and am currently employed at Santa Clara County and they have a 2/11/2026 2:06 PM
different 457 plan provider. I don't think there is a way to still participate in San Mateo County's
plan.
