the new approach is very confusing and not logically laid out. It would help if someone with
some financial education and understanding was educating the employees of the County
instead. A very convoluted and disjointed approach to helping employees understand what
they need to do an when. The actual calculations to determine differed comp
Administrative/Management Cash Out have to be done in separate excel spreadsheets that
are not provided by HR. I had to get mine through Controller who understandings the
calculations better. This isn't a resource HR provides to anyone.

by the State of California and that was taken away. We now how to take time off from work and
pay for it.
