4. Fiduciary Briefcase Vince used the internet to introduce NFP’s Fiduciary
Briefcase which will allow Committee members to
access minutes, policies, plan documents and other
information. The Committee agreed that this would be an
important tool for them to use and Jay agreed to provide
Vince with the email addresses of all the Committee and
staff members who will be able to access this information
electronically.
5. Participant Surveys / County and Mass Although these were different agenda items, they have
Mutual and Its Implications for Future been combined in the minutes because they were
Workplan Priorities discussed in unison and it was clear that they were inter-
related.
Jay provided a November 5, memo related to this item
and an August 15, memo that identified the workplan
priorities for 2019 and 2020. Some of these items have
been completed but Jay wanted to make sure that after
the Committee reviewed survey results from both the
County and MassMutual that they could feel free to
modify or add items to the workplan.
MassMutual also provided a summary of Conclusions
and Recommendations document that recommend
continuing education on plan participation initiatives, and
continuation of monitoring PIC performance which was
also discussed in the regular meeting. MassMutual
requested that the County seek to coordinate Patrick’s
participation in departmental or training sessions being
scheduled by the County. Staff agreed they would work
on this operational enhancement. As an aside,
MassMutual indicated that their recent staff hires would
provide more time for Patrick to spend on County-
specific initiatives during the coming year.
