After further discussion, the Committee unanimously
approved both the $100,000 withdrawal provision and
the expanded loan amount. Bob indicated that the
Committee packet included an adoption agreement the
County could sign that would enable MassMutual to act
on both of these approved elective procedures.
4. Investment Strategies Paul indicated that this agenda item was unrelated to the
COVID discussion but reminded the Committee that at
the last quarterly meeting the Committee had reviewed
and approved MassMutual’s communication to be sent
to participants that essentially conveyed the importance
of “staying the course” during this period with an option
to talk to Patrick about any specific individual concerns.
5. Communication As mentioned above, the County will distribute
information to participants that will let them know that
both the County’s and MassMutual’s websites would
provide updates and that Patrick would be available for
individual meetings.
6. Meeting Minutes Paul indicated he would provide a summary of the
meeting minutes and that at the next meeting of the
Committee these would be reviewed before approval.
7. Other Issues Steve wanted to know what the status was of the
contract renewal with MassMutual. The agreement does
not end until March 31, 2021 and the Committee will
discuss the contract status at the next quarterly meeting
in May.
8. Next Meeting The next meeting will be held on May 21, 2020.
The Committee adjourned at 2:05.
