Description of Item for Discussion Action Taken by Committee
1. Meeting Minutes The Committee had no changes to the November 7,
2019 Regular Meeting or Retreat Meeting minutes and
approved them unanimously
2. Conflict of Interest – Item # 10 This item was taken as a time-specific agenda item. Paul
Okada, County Counsel, discussed conflict of interest
provisions and the filing of California’s Form 700. He
summarized the original Committee Board of
Supervisors Resolution and subsequent amendments
that defined the Committee’s roles and responsibilities
and noted that in 2008, after a review, the Deferred
Compensation Advisory Committee (DCAC) was left off
of the Boards and Committees listed as filing Form 700;
it appears this was inadvertent. Some members of the
Committee have continued to file a Form 700. Others
