QUALIFICATIONS




     Education and Experience:
     Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and

     abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
        Education - the equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course
        work in social work, health care or public administration, clinical psychology, nursing or a related discipline.
        Experience - five years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in the field of mental health,
        alcohol and other drug services and/or behavioral health, including at least two years of significant
        administrative experience working in a large public agency and eligibility for State Department of Mental
        Health designation as Local Mental Health Director.
